This phrase just struck me one day, seemingly out of nowhere.

“It takes all of who have been to become all of who we are.”

I  was thinking about I Found Myself, a song I’d written about the journey of accepting our choices, gratitude for the path that is created as a result and the importance of standing behind your choice for how to move forward.

I Found Myself is a very personal song. However, the details of my story aren’t what’s important.

What’s important is everyone who struggles with choices can come to understand that those choices are what make us who we are  are. And without the rough places and times of uncertainty, we wouldn’t be who we are today.

Each and every one of us is magnificent. Just the way we are. And when we show up in the world with authenticity and without apology, we can’t help but make the world a better place.

This Joyful Goddess sculpture embodies that self-love and self-confidence that we step into when we accept the magnificence of who we really are.

That’s what this new blog is about…. and its going to take some twists and turns. We are all multi-faceted and part of the adventure of life is being interested and excited about different things.

I’m an artist, a singer and a songwriter. I’m also a marketing geek and a techno-nerd. I can compartmentalize my blog a bit by assigning categories to my posts, but its all going to blend together eventually. That’s what happens in my brain, anyway.

So here’s to all of us… all that we’ve been, all that we have become and all that we are becoming.
