ReCreate Waste to Wonder Submission
I love ReCreate, and I'm happy to donate these pieces to the Waste to Wonder exhibition should you choose to accept them.
1. Storm at the Ranch, 6X6 paper collage using paper scraps, cyanotype-dyed recycled paper pulp and a mixture of used coffee filters and paper pulp cast on strings.
2. Doors and Windows, 6X6 paper collage using hand-made and cast paper from recycled scraps including coffee filters and the covers of the folder my CPA sent my tax return in.
5. Hiding in the Waves, 6X6 eco-printed upcycled cotton sheet, draped on canvas and hardened with PVA glue. (I get all my brushes used for glue at ReCreate)
6. Yesterday's Fashion Reborn, 18X22 handmade 'paper' from a discarded polyester blouse and rinsed, shredded bamboo paper towels I'd used to clean up in my studio. Frame is from the 'oops' rack at Michaels.
7. Disney shredded fiber.
