This duality speaks to the complexity of connection and perception; the choices we make are rarely as clear-cut as black and white.
In this piece, two interconnected castings of cotton and abaca paper pulp stretch across twin cradled panels, each enveloped in black fabric.
Using these tactile forms I hope to suggest both unity and tension, highlighting the fine line between the support of human connection that we crave, and the danger of the echo chamber.
