Basic Papermaking from Recycled Scraps, Monday July 28
Learn to make paper from ordinary recycling scraps, using a household blender. Add color using tissue paper, and botanicals for added texture and interest. You will learn basics that can be applied to a variety of papermaking projects. The focus of this class is on exercising your creative muscle to create unique art papers rather than perfectly flat paper to write or print on.
You'll take home ten sheets of 8X6 paper on cotton couching cloths with instructions to finish drying at home.
Where: My home in Citrus Heights, California. Address will be provided with registration.
When: Monday July 28, 5pm to 8pm.
What's included: Light brunch, all workshop materials.
