The Sacramento Center for Spiritual Living
Fiber Knotting Affirmations Project
Our thoughts are powerful!
We are creative beings. That creativity can take the form of an artistic pursuit but, more often, its simply the way we navigate our daily lives. Creating financial stability. Getting a toddler out the door to daycare. Manifesting the dream of starting a business, or changing a career.
Before we create we dream, and our dreams begin as a thoughts.
With our thoughts and our words we tell a benevolent Universe, Spirit, God - however you chose to name and experience this force - what we claim as our truth. Tap into that powerful force that only says YES!
Are you ready to claim the good you deserve in your life ? Can you tie a knot?
Join fiber artist and creative adventurer Bev Barnett for four monthly one-hour sessions at the Sacramento Center for Spiritual Living, where you'll participate in a community fiber art project while affirming the direction you choose for your life in 2025.
Bev will begin each session with an introduction, instruction and brief guided meditation. Then we'll dive right in!
- Rip fabric as you mentally discard the part of your life that no longer serves you
- Choose an affirmation to guide your journey forward
- Tie knots in fabric as you silently anchor your affirmation
At the close of each session we'll celebrate and share our experiences of how our intentions come to live over the four months of the project.
Where will this lead?
There's no right or wrong way for each of us to define the color of our lives. Once we decide, we need only to claim it for ourselves! It is my hope that through this time together you'll experience a shift in your life, moving you close to the big, bold, colorful life you deserve.
This summer, Bev will also unveil a colorful fiber art wall sculpture for the Sacramento Center for Spiritual Living, using the physical manifestations of the affirmations of our community! This fiber knotting project is inspired by one of Bev's artistic mentors, Clarissa Callesen.
If you want to live a more colorful life, and you can tie a knot, this workshop series is for you.
