Private Workshops and One-One Sessions at my Sacramento Area Studio
Come work with me at my covered outdoor studio space in Citrus Heights, California, just east of Sacramento. During the rainy winter months, I work inside in a smaller studio area. I offer two options to work with me privately.
Book Your Own Papermaking Workshop
Connect with friends and book your own private papermaking workshop on a date March through October, which we’ll agree on together. $100 per person, minimum three - maximum 6 participants. This is the same 4-hour Flat is Boring Workshop that I offer publicly. Pricing is for my home studio. I can also conduct the workshop at your location for an additional fee.
One-on-One Private Papermaking Session
Work with me one-on-one. Private studio time is perfect for those who have taken one of my classes – or another papermaking class – and want to explore more under expert guidance.
General pricing: $75/hour, 4-hour ($300) minimum.
Returning workshop participants: 3-hour session, $200. $75/hour thereafter.
Includes use of my studio, equipment and consulting services. For an additional fee, materials can be prepared in advance and provided for each working session.
Materials could include:
Abaca, Cotton, Kozo pulp
Recycled paper or fiber pulp
Plant fiber (dried or in season)
Fiber reactive dye powder
Mordanted fiber pulp for natural dying
Foraged or commercial natural dyestuff
Cyanotype
