Art to Spark your Sense of Wonder

Bev Barnett is a Northern California artist working with handmade paper and fiber mixed media. Rooted in curiosity, her work transforms foraged botanicals and recycled fibers into highly textured wall sculptures. As visual meditations, these pieces explore themes of resilience, turning raw materials into layered expressions of perseverance and joy.

Botanical Magic:
Tap into the color and
fiber of plants

In this deep dive into ecoprinting and papermaking, you’ll tap into the elements of rust, moisture, pressure, and heat to transfer naturally occurring plant pigments directly onto pre-treated papers. Then, using a simple, low-water method, you’ll transform prepared plant fiber pulp into highly textured handmade art papers.
